Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS):

Some of our clinicians are trained and experienced in POCUS and this is used to assist them in clinical reasoning and opinion. We are not radiologists and so cannot give definitive diagnoses of complex conditions but by using ultrasound alongside our clinical examination and testing we can rule things out and confirm our clinical reasoning. This enables us to be much clearer in our clinical impression and ensures the patient that we have them at the centre of everything we do. Not all conditions require scanning but this service can be extremely helpful in some cases. Your clinician can refer in-house to ensure the most experienced clinician performs the scan as part of your care.

MRI Imaging:

We use a select few companies in the North West to provide our MRI imaging service. We work alongside these companies closely to ensure the referral is as comprehensive as possible as this helps the consultant radiologist to report specifically on your presenting condition. We also have the facility to speak to the consultant if we need to.

CT Imaging:

As per MRI, we use recognised and trusted companies to provide this service.
